For the past month or so I have been using the best email client for Windows. Its not Microsoft Outlook or Thunderbird but a little known client called eM Client. I use Google Apps to handle my business email and eM Client works seamlessly with it.

As soon as you sign up with it. You don’t need to know all the port settings etc, it loads the email without any problem. It works just as well with POP3 email clients as well.
